Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the Tensorhaus website and your enrolment in Tensorhaus courses. By accessing this website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use this site or enrol.
1. Definitions
- "Tensorhaus", "we", "us", "our" — refers to the educational organisation operating under the name Tensorhaus, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- "User", "you", "participant" — any individual who accesses the website or enrols in a course.
- "Course" — any educational programme offered by Tensorhaus, including MLOps Fundamentals, Tabular Data Methods, and the Friday Code Reading Hour.
- "Content" — all materials provided through Tensorhaus courses, including lectures, notebooks, labs, and written feedback.
- "Agreement" — this Terms and Conditions document in its current version.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form, enrolling in a course, or accessing course materials, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
3. Service Description
Tensorhaus provides online educational courses related to machine-learning engineering for working professionals. Current offerings are MLOps Fundamentals (ten-week course), Tabular Data Methods (five-week course), and the Friday Code Reading Hour (weekly live session, monthly subscription). Courses are conducted in English and are oriented toward the Malaysian and Southeast Asian engineering market.
Tensorhaus reserves the right to adjust course schedules, content, or delivery format with reasonable notice to enrolled participants.
4. User Accounts and Access
- Course access is provided to the individual who enrolled. Credentials must not be shared with others.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your access credentials.
- Tensorhaus may suspend or revoke access if credentials are found to be shared or if the Account is used in violation of these terms.
5. User Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
- Use course materials for your own personal learning only.
- Not reproduce, redistribute, or republish course materials in any form without prior written permission from Tensorhaus.
- Not engage in conduct that disrupts the learning environment for other participants (for example, disruptive behaviour in live sessions).
- Submit your own work for assignments and reflections; presenting another person's work as your own is not acceptable.
- Comply with applicable Malaysian law in your use of the website and course materials.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content — including but not limited to lecture recordings, notebooks, lab environments, written materials, and feedback documents — is the intellectual property of Tensorhaus or its instructors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use this content for your own learning during the period of your enrolment.
This licence does not include the right to copy, share, sell, or create derivative works from Tensorhaus course materials.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Fees
- MLOps Fundamentals: RM 4,580 per cohort enrolment
- Tabular Data Methods: RM 780 per cohort enrolment
- Friday Code Reading Hour: RM 220 per calendar month
All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
7.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via FPX (online banking), credit or debit card, and selected e-wallets. Payment instructions are provided at enrolment confirmation.
7.3 Refund Policy
- Requests for a full refund made more than seven calendar days before the cohort start date will be honoured in full.
- Requests made within seven days of the cohort start date may be honoured as a credit toward a future cohort, at Tensorhaus's discretion.
- No refund is available after course materials have been accessed.
- For the Friday Code Reading Hour, you may cancel your monthly subscription at any time; no partial-month refunds are issued.
- If Tensorhaus cancels a cohort, enrolled participants will receive a full refund.
8. Course-Specific Terms
- Access to course materials is available for the duration of the enrolled cohort plus thirty calendar days thereafter.
- Tensorhaus does not issue formal certificates of completion. Participants who complete all weekly labs and reflections will receive a letter of participation on request.
- HRDF claim documentation is provided on request for eligible Malaysian companies. It is the participant's responsibility to confirm eligibility with their employer's HR team before enrolment.
- Friday Code Reading Hour recordings are made available to active subscribers within twenty-four hours of the live session. Recording access ends when the subscription is cancelled.
9. Disclaimers
Course materials are provided for educational purposes only. Tensorhaus makes no representations about the outcomes of applying techniques learned in a course to any specific professional situation. Nothing in the course content constitutes professional advice of any kind.
Course materials are provided "as is". While we make every effort to ensure accuracy and currency, we do not warrant that the content is free from error or that it will meet your specific requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Tensorhaus's liability to any participant arising from or relating to these terms or any course shall not exceed the total fees paid by that participant for the relevant course in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Tensorhaus is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind arising from participation in courses or use of the website.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tensorhaus and its instructors harmless from claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement or misuse of course materials.
12. Termination
Tensorhaus may terminate or suspend your course access without notice if you breach this Agreement. On termination for breach, no refund will be issued. Either party may terminate a Friday Code Reading Hour subscription on notice; Tensorhaus will provide at least seven days' notice of service termination.
Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Limitation of Liability), and 13 (Governing Law) survive any termination.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties. If unresolved within thirty days, disputes will be referred to the courts of Malaysia, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Tensorhaus regarding your use of the service.
- Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure by Tensorhaus to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement. Tensorhaus may assign its rights in connection with a transfer of business.
- Notices: Legal notices to Tensorhaus should be sent in writing to [email protected] or to the address below.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or course materials after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, enrolled participants will be notified by email.
